About Find Blood Donors
Every 2 seconds somewhere somebody is in need of blood. In India there is an average annual requirement of 4 crore units of blood. Of this requirement only 50% is met through voluntary donations. In delhi there is an average annual estimated requirement of around 5 lakh units. The government and many NGO’s are making constant efforts to promote voluntary blood donations. People usually have unfounded fears in relation to blood donations and often do not come forward to donate due to these misconceptions.

                                   
Who can donate blood?

People who meet the following criteria can donate blood:
  • You are between age group of 18-60 years.
  • Your weight is 45 kgs or more.
  • Your haemoglobin is 12.5 gm% minimum.
  • Your last blood donation was 3 or more months earlier.
